Annual Monitoring Report

Each year the Council publishes an Annual Monitoring Report (AMR). This sets out how the Borough’s planning policies have been implemented over the previous financial year and informs of progress on local planning documents.

The Town and Country Planning Regulations 2012 now refer to AMRs as Authorities Monitoring Reports. Over the next two years the Council will be preparing a Local Development Plan. Once adopted this will replace saved policies within the existing Local Plan (2005). In light of this transition a decision has been made to reflect the change in title from Annual Monitoring Report to Authority Monitoring Report once the new Local Development Plan is adopted. The AMR will be subject to review during this period and published here on the Council's website.

The latest AMR, published in December 2012 and agreed by the Council in March 2013, covers the period 1 April 2011 to 31 March 2012 and can be viewed below.
