Site Help Brentwood Borough Council has tried to make this site easy for anyone to use, from experienced Internet users to complete beginners, but if you are stuck, this section is here to help you.
Getting around the site:
The start page is known as the home page. From this page you will be able to access all of the sections of this site.
The Home button on the left hand navigation menu will get you back to the start page.
The home page is divided into several areas: main sections, lead story, press releases, popular pages, search, A-Z search, the Council's contact details, online services and the events calendar.
From the Main Sections of the website you will be able to find most of the information contained within the site. The main sections are then subdivided into additional sections, which are displayed on the right hand side of the page. These sections are often subdivided again. If you go to the wrong page use the Back button on your browser or use the Main Sections drop down list.
You can search from any page of the site by typing a word to look for the information you need in specific areas of the site or by using the A-Z search, which will link you directly to the area you specify.
Council's contact details
The Council's main contact details are displayed beneath the Main Sections drop down list.
In the centre of the home page is the lead story. This is the most important Council news story of the day.
These are the Council's eight most recent press releases. Use the heading for further news from Brentwood Borough Council.
