Premises Licences - Making an application
The fees for the new licensing regime have been set by the Government and are the same across the whole country. The fee for a Premises Licence is based on the rateable value of the premises.
The Home Office is responsible for policy around alcohol licensing. Licensing policy is set out in the Licensing Act 2003
An application pack can be downloaded by following the links below or can be requested from the Licensing Section on 01277 312523. Interactive forms will be available in the near future.
You may now apply and pay online for a Premises Licence.

Designate Premises Supervisor (DPS) consent form - online form
Alternatively, you can download and print a pdf of the form. If you choose to complete a paper application, please note: the Council has no facility to accept cash payments. Payment must be by cheque or credit/debit card only. Cheque payments subsequently 'Referred to Drawer' must be repaid by credit/debit card only.
