Webcasting

Brentwood Borough Council was the first Council in Essex to broadcast meetings live on the website. The webcasting facility was first introduced in January 2005 and enables public meetings to be viewed live as well as offering an archive whereby recordings of meetings which have already taken place, can also be viewed. 

Three webcasting cameras are installed in the Council Chamber at the Town Hall to allow live webcasting of Council meetings and other significant civic events.
