Brentwood Borough Council organises a number of community based events throughout the year and provides opportunity for other events organised by the local community to be advertised on these web pages.

Strawberry Fair - Saturday 22nd June, 11am - 4pm on Shenfield Common.

A traditional English summer fair where you can find something for everyone, with craft stalls, a range of entertainment including local performers, singers and dancers. There will be fairground rides, food and a steady supply of local beers, and not forgetting the summer classic drink, Pimm's. There is also the ever popular strawberries and cream, making this a wonderful day out for all the family.

Lighting Up Brentwood - Saturday 30th November, 12 - 6pm in and around Brentwood High Street

A family event to celebrate the start of the Christmas season and the turning on of the Borough's Christmas lights.

If you would like to book a stall or activity please complete the Lighting Up Brentwood online booking form.

Deadline for applications for Lighting Up Brentwood need to be submitted by 27th September 2013. Applications submitted after this date will not be included.
