The Brentwood Leisure Trust

The BLT has a great number of community halls for a variety of uses, including the Brentwood Centre itself, which is a multi-purpose facility that can seat up to 2,000 in luxury theatre seating. Entertainment includes rock, comedy, classical music, choral music, international sports events and much more.

Brentwood Theatre
at The Hermitage site in Shenfield Road, is Brentwood’s town centre venue for professional and amateur drama, dance and music of all kinds. Telephone for a free brochure. The Theatre is also available for hire to societies, companies or individuals, seating up to 176 for concerts, plays, meetings or conferences.

The Hermit Club
At the Hermitage site in Shenfield Road, there is a live music venue for young people. Tel: (01277) 249300.

Village Halls
The villages and communities within the Borough are well served by a number of village or parish halls which are the centres of group activities of many kinds. A full list of the halls for hire within the Borough is available from the Town Hall.

Need another arts venue? Why not try the local schools. Many of them have great stage and seating space and are available for hire at good rates.
