Consultations
Brentwood Borough Council wants to involve its community – individuals, groups and organisations – in local affairs as much as it can. Finding out what the public want from their local services helps the Council to carry out its work more efficiently and effectively.
Details of consultations currently taking place can be found on the Consultations web page.
Decision Making
The Council welcomes the views and participation of the local community in the delivery of local services, decision making and local democracy. With this in mind, all members of the public can attend the Council's committee and panel meetings.
Full Council meetings incorporate ‘Public Question Time’, where members of the public are invited to pose questions to Council Members and Officers. The Planning Development Control and Licensing Committee operates a ‘Public Speakers’ scheme.
If you prefer, you can view all of the above meetings live on the Council’s website at through the live webcasting facility.
